Background

Background

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, ArtCenter College of Design has been forced to adopt a range of measures to ensure the safety of its students and faculty. One of the most significant changes has been the transition to online instruction, which has resulted in many students being unable to return to the main campus in Pasadena, CA. This shift has had a profound impact on the college community, as students and teachers have had to grapple with a wide range of challenges related to remote learning, communication, and other areas of college life. Despite these difficulties, however, the ArtCenter community remains committed to providing a high-quality education to all its students, regardless of the challenges presented by the pandemic.

UI Component

The icon draws inspiration from the wheel of a printing machine, symbolizing the dynamic nature of printing. Additionally, it incorporates four elements inspired by the traditional CMYK color model used in printing, representing cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black) colors, which are fundamental to the printing process. This symbolism not only reflects the brand's connection to the printing industry but also underscores its commitment to innovation and traditional craftsmanship.
